about

Peter Busher was in a killer band called Never Never that wrote perfect pop songs, with perfect harmonies, perfect melodies and catchy as hell lyrics... they should've been famous. He also had of the best country bands ever and his voice is to die for. This song is huge and Pete did it in two takes while I just watched in wonder. Arthur Alexander, who also wrote perfect songs, is responsible to this gem. Listen and weep.

lyrics

After you, who will there ever be, after you, have been in my arms, after you, how could anyone take your place, feel my love and my warm embrace, when it's you I want only. Who'll fill my empty arms with a love that I cherish so, tell me who could ever replace you darling, after you.
