COLLECTOR washes over you like a warm breeze blowing in from the outskirts of a country pop town.
The opening line takes your imagination hostage and hints at a kiss and tell, perhaps from the lips of a Tennessee Williams southern belle who’s heart is worn but still open to another waltz around love's dance floor.
It’s a sweet and edgy melancholy of 12 string guitars, piano accordion, tambourines and a gently percussive pulse. Sixties jangly guitars swoop in for a major to minor shift at the bridge into a Byrds influenced solo.
