Steve Lucas and I have been friends since I first moved from WA to Melbourne. At my first X gig I was bowled over, literally and figuratively by the sheer force of the band and glazed eye fans at the POW. He's larger than life, has a rock'n roll heart, a wardrobe that defies categorisation and a voice that can tear down buildings. He's also one very funny, quick witted, snappy talker, as evidenced in this photo. I decided to take him to Nashville via a Beatles love song. We tweaked the lyrics so we could sing it together. I'm hoping everyone will be okay with that.

I have never known the likes of this, I've been alone and I have missed things and kept out of sight but other times were never quite like this.
